Hey there,
Newbie here.
I am in the process of creating a very basic game for a school project. To put it simply, I have a factory that spawns different configurations of geometries. As of right now, the factory spawns a set number of the same gameobject that have preset positions. Right now, I only have one configuration set up, but what I am trying to do is have three different ones. Here is how the game will go:

  1. Play- click the bowl (factory) and it will spawn a cluster of pasta. After set number of pasta is complete, the spawning will stop and the cluster will have a message that appears and says “click here”
  2. Once the cluster is clicked (using an xbox controller) the cluster will either drop back into the bowl, or disappear into the air, and the bowl (factory) will spawn a different cluster of pasta (that is preset in positions as well)
  3. This will continue 3 or 4 times
As of right now, all that happens is when you press play, the first set of configurations automatically spawns and the bowl (factory) disappears when limit is reached. I am also wondering how to not have the factory Destroy when the limit is reached, and when I attempt to take it out of the script, the object will continue to spawn without stopping even the “Make Limit” has been reached. Please see line 39 of the Factory script for this. As for the rest, I’m not sure how to make it so when you click the cluster disappears and the new one begins, and the cycle happens consistently. I would greatly appreciate any help, I have a midterm deadline for this next week and am really quite stuck right now. Thank you in advance. I also have a script set up on Cursor to change the color of the bowl (factory) when my xbox cursor hovers over it, but that doesn’t seem to be working. It’s not a huge deal, but in case anyone sees an error in my script on that it would help as well
